These chiller plates are the ideal companion for your transport equipment. Simply freeze flat overnight and slide them to the top rails of your insulated transporter to prolong the cold holding time of your chilled foods beyond 4 hours. Or use as added insurance when you need to frequently access cold product from your transporter.
ThermoBarriers®
Have hot and cold food to transport but not enough to split them into 2 separate insulated carriers? The Thermobarrier is a great tool to help with this exact task. Simply slide it into the rails of your carrier so that the hot mashed potatoes don't turn cold salad into a warm one! Also great to minimize empty space and food temperature loss within a partially loaded compartment.
Camwarmer®
This is a fantastic insurance policy to have if you are using non-electric carrier or cart and need to prolong the hot holding time of your food beyond 4+ hours. Simply heat in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes and slide onto the bottom rail of your carrier. It's also a great tool to have if you are opening the door frequently. Camwarmers can also help make up for the heat loss when doing so.
- Ensures that hot food stays safe above 140ºF.
- Use to pre-heat a compartment before loading hot food.
- We recommend using 2 Camwarmers per compartment for best results.
